After spending over 30 years working for various astronomy organizations and observatories, Scot Kleinman now offers consulting, coaching, training, and contracted services to both the astronomy industry and the more general business public through his firm, Astromanager LLC. He has had past positions managing operations and instrumentation development aspects of the Gemini Observatory, Subaru Telescope, Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and Whole Earth Telescope. His research interests include white dwarf stars, asteroseismology, instrumentation, and large-scale surveys. His professional interests include organizational behaviorm, leadership, workplace efficiency and personal growth.
